Sweet Night @ Prime

We went for a dinner as our anniversary dinner last Tuesday. Hubby likes steak so we went to a nice restaurant which serves good steak. Hubby just too excited when I get a table book for the dinner. He kept talking about the steak the day before the dinner.
Alright, I will not mention where we were heading for the dinner but showing you the photo first so be patient.
It's an anniversary dinner but I did not dress up for that. Yeap, I am not. A maxi dress worn to the pool site party a week before, that it's. Not even a pair of killer heel.

We get there earlier to escape the traffic in the central of Kuala Lumpur as we don't want to spoil the dinner with thinking about rushing to pick up lil Jo from the babysitter after the dinner. It's early, so we headed to the bar for a drink.
I ordered Black Russian. Well it does kick me off! A single malt for Mr. K.

Yeap, obviously it's mine.

Then…dinner's time!

Start with dinner bread. I like the almond bread.

Alright you may think that I am kampong girl but most of the restaurant did not serve you dinner bread. The restaurant served it with 3 different taste of butter spread with the choices of salted butter (the most common), the paprika flavor butter and the herb flavor butter.
Appetizer
The oyster but the size a little small.
Hubby favorite, wonder why he like oyster so much…is it because of the mens thing…? LOL

Dice Kobe beef with baked potato.
This is mine, recommended by the sweet waitress.

Main Course
USDA Prime Rib eye goes for medium rare.

I am greedy. Well it is all because I can't decide for the sea or land hence I go for
Surf and Turf – a lobster and a fillet mignon. Same for me, beef goes for medium rare.

I am definitely enjoying my main course.

Accompany with black truffles sauce (for the beef) and béarnaise sauce (for the lobster)!

Side dish – Truffles Mash Potato, Sautéed Asparagus and Ratatouille

Dessert
I am full by this time but hubby insisted want to get a dessert. Wanted to try the crème brulee but the waitress said crème brulee might be too much so what else if not the-
Hot Chocolate Cake with vanilla ice-cream. The ice-cream serves with vanilla bean topping.

Hubby is pouring the choc sauce…OMG calories! Don't care.

This is hubby when he tasted the hot choc cake.

We spent a good time there!

Here is where we went for the dinner.
The Prime at Le Meridien KL Sentral.

The ambience with the open kitchen but I can't spot any handsomes in the kitchen because Hubby the most handsome guy in my heart! LOL.

Remember, call for reservation because it is full on the weekdays as well.

Love,
Joey

黎明

亚庇的黎明比西马早很多。凌晨五点就醒了,看着那晟光悄悄的走进房里。伴着它的只有鸟儿的叫声。

Weekend with my sista

Spend a weekend with my youngest sister. Grab the last chance to hang out with her while I am still in Kuala Lumpur. She used to crash at my home last time before we moved back to KK and we have prepared a pink room (we paint it pink for her) for her to stay overnight. She's an Libra like hubby so they always like to make a joke of each other in their conversation.

My sister.

We went to the pool site to chat and it's a sunny evening. The sun was warm and nice.

风和日丽,懒洋洋的下午!就喜欢这样的天气。

We cam whore again and she is so in love with my camera yet hate it cuz she said everything on her face (advantages – young skin; weakness – pimple) shown clearly in the photo.

When she played around with my camera, she did some test shoot on a subject which is ME.

Her cam whore photos.

Then....us!

A cute lil girl at the pool site, got the permission from her dad to take a photo with me. Then she's so excited to join us.

Love,

Joey

The Olive @ Plaza Damas

At first, we thought we gonna grab a pizza (me and hubby) and a pasta for lil Jo. Me and hubby don't feel wanna have a heavy dinner but Lil Jo kept saying "I want pasta!" so we decided to go to The Olive at Plaza Damas because hubby say he saw the pizza serve there not bad and at the same time we can get lil Jo pasta.
We said NO heavy dinner but I am the one who can't resist to say NO to the menu. First, I decided to get a Caesar salad but I saw they serve Foei gras in their starter menu! FOIE GRAS! So I order the starter too. Once I tasted the starter, it had kicked me off to ordered more. On top of the starter, Caesar salad and clam pasta (for lil Jo) we ordered another anchovy pasta.
We both happy with the food because we hardly can get an Italian restaurant can rock a simple food! I hate overcooked pasta.
We were rushing to visit a mom of our best friend so I not manage to snap a photo of the restaurant...I hope the following will make you drool. :p
I can't remember the name of the dish in Italian…so sorry. Same for the anchovy pasta because we were rushing to Kepong.
Foei gras starter...my heart melted.

Caesar salad.

Clam pasta.

Lil Jo favorite choc milk shake. A lil prize for him because he cleared his plate.

The Olive is located at the opposite of TGIF.

Joey
